“Bringing your Newborn baby home photography” captures the most amazing moments. The first days with your newborn baby are precious  and they go by quickly. 

I do recommend that you contact your photographer whilst you are pregnant and get a provisional date booked in. Once your baby arrives, you will be too busy to look for a photographer. Or you might not even think about it until much later on – and potentially miss out on those precious newborn moments. 

But don’t worry if your baby was born a few weeks ago and you have only just remembered that you would like to have some special photos of the baby and you. It’s time to call the photographer now! I am happy to help you 🙂

What is the process? You will be sent a pre-session questionnaire – to help me find out about your family, your home, about your likes and dislikes. We will set up a date. On the agreed date I will arrive at your home. Me and my camera. You don’t need to do any special preparation, I will only ask you to remove anything you wouldn’t want to be seen in your photos – if you are unsure, we can always do it together once I arrive. We will take photos of your newborn in his/her natural environment – the baby room, your bedroom, the sitting room, even the kitchen. It will help you to remember your newborn and your family life as it was in a real life. With the real interaction, in a real family environment. You  might decide to move in years to come and if you are asked by your son or daughter to describe where they were growing up – you can always show them the photos. I know my son asks ever so often as he was only one year old when we moved to the current house. 

We will take posed and unposed photos involving your whole family, indoors and we can always venture outdoors. You can add family activities you enjoying doing – playing football, visiting your favourite restaurant or walking around your favourite park. It is all about having fun. I will talk to you and you will almost forget the camera is there. 

Couple of weeks later, once your receive your photos, feel free to share them with your friends and family. Especially the distant family and friends who could not visit you. They will cherish the moments of seeing your newborn on the photographs.
